GENE SIMMONS Sells Kidney Stone For Charity
June 4, 2009World Entertainment News Network reports that KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has raised $15,000 for a good cause — by selling his kidney stone in a bizarre online auction.
Simmons reveals he recently suffered the ailment, but came up with a unique use for the solid formations of urinary minerals after passing it through his body.
He says, "I passed a kidney stone and I put it on eBay for charity. (I got) $15,000."
